Unrelenting Silent Yet colorful Doom

1.30 min video in loop, printed on a support that allows perpetual plays without inputs other than the object itself. The fictional other world here represented is trapped too in one’s house, the object itself being reminiscent of framed family pictures. The title refers back to a biblical quotation, where after the seven seals were opened there was a long pause, thirty minutes to be precise. This mysterious silence has to do with the expectation all heaven had for doom coming along. Rather, trumpets were played by angels as a final warning for sinners to repent. Here the sin is unknown, there’s no one else witnessing the painful wake of the blue humanoid. And so it is, over and over.
